The First Years Insulated Sippy Cup
May 17, 2007 | | TrackBacks

This may be my oddest review yet because I certainly don't use a sippy cup and probably neither do you. But like lots of you I have 3 feet little people around me that do and a lot. And for some reason, finding a good sippy cup is actually pretty tough. After four years of sippy cups, I do have a favorite [for my girls]. It is First Years by Learning Curve's 9oz insulated cup. Why I love this as a mother? Most importantly it doesn't spill. I can't tell you how many non-spill sippy cups don't live up to that promise. This certainly does and the best part about that is there are NO "insides" to the cup to keep up with. I have found other sippy cups that don't spill but none of them do it without some sort of apparatus on the inside that has to be taken out, washed and then put back in only to come out when the cup is thrown on the floor halfway through the drink. It is SO nice to be able to just grab the top and put it on without searching my dishwasher for parts that have flown around during the cycle. And of course the cup is insulated keeping the drink cooler longer and it's a good size at 9oz so you're not filling the cup up halfway through a meal. My girls like it for the design on the outside and it's known as the princess cup at my house. And of course they offer other popular characters. They aren't the cheapest cup around but I find mine in packs of 2 at my local Target.
