| "Everton, let me explain things to you. In the world of cooking, I am Einstein, Lucinda is Isaac Newton, and you are a mud-dwelling unicellular bit of jelly with a predilection for consuming its own excrement." Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! A few years ago while dining at a hotel, I was fortunate to be within earshot of an interview in progress. It started off nice enough with the usual small talk, and then within minutes I and a few others were experiencing one of the most intense interview sessions I know I've ever heard, and hope never to be a part of in the future. Cooking is a serious business and the opening theme for Chef lets you know that it is indeed a 'Serious Profession'. After watching season one of this fantastic show I can appreciate the interview a lot more, and understand that chefs look at their efforts more than just a meal, but more as a work of art. The casting is great, and the writing is top-notch. A total joy and a must have in any comedy collection. Available for about under $20 at Amazon.com | ![]() |
