Banana Boat SunDial Self-Tanning Moisturizer
June 7, 2007 | | TrackBacks

Banana Boat's SunDial Self-Tanning Moisturizer is the best I've tried so far. I like the fact it is as simple as putting on lotion. And in fact, this tanning lotion let's you "dial" your shade of tanning going from all lotion to all tanning lotion to any mix in between. They say the lotion has some sort of chemicals to make the tanner go on more smoothly but you know, you never can tell. Even though I am pretty pale, I found using the dial all the way to the tanner was just fine for me. In fact, it took two applications to get the shade I wanted. So I'm not really sure how well the whole idea of "dialing" your shade is but I guess when I run out of the tanner, I'll just use the rest of the lotion. I like the fact the color was very natural, not orange at all and it was not streaky in the least. It also handled the tough spots--the knees, ankles and elbows--with grace. No dirty looking knees here. I also liked that this didn't leave you smelling all self-tanning-lotiony. It didn't have a great smell to it, but it wasn't a bad or annoying smell either. The only real problem I have with it is it the same as what I like-it's like putting on lotion. That's hard to do by yourself on your back and hope to get any semblance of evenness. However I think this one will be the one I stick with for now and it's good enough to recommend.
