Glaceau - Vitamin Water - Power-C

So I finally got my hands on this popular Glaceau Vitamin Water Power-C drink, located in all your popular health/grocery stores, and grabbed a variety of these drinks. Today's will be focusing on their Power-C dragon fruit (c+taurine) which has a more red than pink color to it.. giving it the impression it will taste something watermelon-like.. since I have no idea about dragonfruit.

The legend of the dragonfruit says that the fruit was created by fire-breathing dragons. By eating the dragonfruit it was believed that one became empowered with the same strength and ferocity of a dragon. Other stories say that the dragonfruit looks like a dragon's egg. Let's just hope its the former story that Glacleau vitamin water were going for.

This drink is One of the few times where i can detect more of an after-taste than a taste while drinking it. It tastes almost flavorless (hint of berries) but has a distinct smell which probably is the reason for the great aftertaste sensation.

They have a very hip / tongue in cheek marketing strategy as depicted on their bottle label.. 'gives you the power to do a thousand pinkie push-ups' and a very effective formula of 'vitamins + water = all you need' Please dont believe that you can truly perform these stunts unless you truly could before ever realizing this product ever existed. But hey, its a nice change from the boring content typically posted on competitor products.

Im not sold on this drink, it doesnt have anything about it that would make me buy it again but its a flavor that I now 'understand' since some of their other products have un-familiar fruits (i.e. jackfruit, acai-blueberry-pomegrante) that no one can understand without having a taste-test first.

dude. you totally missed the point of vitamin water. it's not a fruit drink. it's flavored water. there's more vitamins and good stuff in there than flavoring and sugar. hence, vitamins + water = all you need. before giving a bad review, you should probably put it into context. eg: health drinks. how does it stack up to, say, enviga or other diet drinks. also, i don't think you need a "taste-test" to figure out what orange-orange, kiwi-strawberry, fruit punch, lemon tea, grape or lemonade are going to taste like. they only have like, 3 or 4 odd fruit combos. you seriously need a "balance"... perhaps "focus".
